FAQ

Q: HOW ARE YOUR PRINTS MADE?

A: I promise you that these gorgeous 'art decor' prints that you purchase will be of the highest quality and have been professionally printed, using only the best quality materials, to give you a product which you can enjoy for many years to come. The 'Fine Art' printer I use is specially designed for this type of printing and has been carefully calibrated and colour managed to produce stunningly detailed prints that will last over 100 years with proper care.

Q: WHAT DO YOU PRINT THE PHOTOGRAPHS ON?

A: The high quality papers used for my ‘Fine Art’ photographic prints are archival quality, flat and completely non-reflective stock suitable for glassless framing. Prints can be printed using the excellent, medium weight, Epson enhanced matte 190gsm paper, or on a heavier stock Canson 310gsm cotton rag photographique paper - the cost for this beautiful, heavier paper stock is extra, so please choose carefully from the dropdown menu which paper weight you require.

Q: HOW MUCH ARE YOUR BEAUTIFUL PRINTS?

A: Print prices (in Australian dollars), sizes, paper stock & paper weights are listed on the dropdown menu at the top of each product page, but if you require larger or customised sizes which are not listed, please contact me at: peter@peterbrownphotographer.com for a free quote.

Q: IF I WANT TO PURCHASE A SQUARE PRINT OR A PANORAMA PRINT, WHICH SIZE PAPER WOULD I SELECT?

A: When you purchase a square cropped print or a panorama cropped print, THE PAPER SIZE YOU SELECT IN THE DROP DOWN MENU SHOULD CORRESPOND TO EITHER the short side as the measurement (square print) OR the long side as the measurement (panorama print) - for example:

1: Square cropped prints are printed using the short side as the measurement, so please choose the paper size that corresponds to that. For example a print size of 42cmx42cm would be printed on an A2 sheet which is 42cm x 59.4cm - the excess paper will be trimmed.

2:  Panorama cropped prints are printed using the long side as the measurement, so please choose the paper size that corresponds to that. For example - if you wanted a panorama print approx 60cm long, then the print size you would choose from the drop-down menu is ‘A2 crop’ which will give you a print size 59.4cm long - the excess paper will be trimmed.

Q: DO YOU CHARGE FOR SHIPPING AND HOW LONG UNTIL DISPATCH?

A: Prints are dispatched within 7-10 days after placing your order. Shipping to an Australian address is A$15 and International Shipping is A$45 (regardless of quantity ordered in one sale) - prints are carefully packaged in either a flat cardboard mailer for up to A3 size prints or in a cardboard tube for larger print sizes.

Q: ARE YOUR PRINTS SIGNED OR WATERMARKED?

A: Prints are signed in either the bottom right or left corner

Q: CAN YOU TELL ME WHAT THE 'A' SIZES ARE IN INCHES?

A: Please refer to the conversion chart below - prints can be sized exactly to imperial sizes such as 5"x7", 8"x10" etc. Please choose the metric size closest to the print size you require in inches and use that as a guide to price. Please contact me at: peter@peterbrownphotographer.com if you have a specific size you want.

Q: DO YOU PRINT TO OTHER SIZES?

A: Yes, if you have a specific size to fit a custom frame, please contact me at: peter@peterbrownphotographer.com for a free quote for the size you require.

Q: DO YOU SEND PRINTS FRAMED?

A: Prints are sent unmatted and unframed but can be framed with a matte if requested - however, a seperate quote would be required. Please contact me at: peter@peterbrownphotographer.com for a free quote.
